Hello. Today I thought I would give you a few of the labels I use in my cooking so that you might get them.
I live in San Dimas so the nearest shops that sell some gluten free items are: Sprouts in Claremont on Foothill Ave., Vitamin City behind Del Taco on Arrow Hwy, and believe it or not Wal Mart. I know some of my friends or relatives don't shop at Wal Mart but their plain wrap Great Value I think its called is very much gluten free. But still read your labels folks cuz just when I think I'm on top of my game wowie I get hit with a label I didn't see coming.

Pamela's Chocolate Chunk Cookie Mix (Wheat and Gluten free)
Stagg Turkey Ranchero Chili with Beans found at Ralphs
Member Mark Gourmet Sausages (Mozzarella & Roasted Garlic, Sun dried Tomato with Provolone Cheese, Chicken & Apple) these are all chicken sausages.
Lundberg organic Elbow Brown rice pasta
Heartland Pasta Gluten free and Wheat free
Bob's Red Mill All purpose flour - great stuff!
Bisquick Gluten free makes the best pancakes!!
Hot Dog Medley
Ingredients
1 pkg.Beef Hot Dogs GF
1 pkg. frozen Peas
2 cups fresh Broccoli
1 pkg microwave brown rice
1 TBSPS dried onions
1 tsp garlic powder
GF marinade to taste
2TBSPS EVOO
Directions
Slice hot dogs in 1/4's then 1/4's again. Cook them in a large skillet in EVOO until they are slightly browned. Add garlic powder and dried onions to pan. Add frozen peas and 1 cup water to pan. Add broccoli, Stir all together and cook on medium high heat until broccoli is tender and peas are well cooked. Add marinade and brown rice. Heat through and serve in bowls Yum. serves 4-5
I know not everyone eats hot dogs, but every once in a while I gotta have one, so I drag my family with me! but I do try to bring in the veggies along with it!!
Another gem that I came up with one night when I had this enormous bag of frozen mixed fish soooooo
Mixed Fish Soup
Ingredients
3 cups of Frozen Mixed Fish (Paella) bought at Sam's Club or Costco
1 bag of frozen corn (small)
4 handfuls of frozen green beans
4 cups of cooked brown rice
3 cups fresh spinach
3 chopped tomatoes
2 TBSPs garlic powder
2 TBSPs minced onions
2 TBSPs Better than Boullion Chicken paste
Directions
Get a large pot with a lid and fill it with water. Put 2 TBSPs of chicken boullion paste in pot, stir until disolved.
Add 3 cups of mixed fish, stir,add corn, stir, add green beans, rice, chopped tomatoes, spinach, stir. Cook and stir fro about 45 -1 hour on high heat. Serve in bowls. Serve hot. Great on a cold day!
